I heard the bigger and more annoying the exhuast the more hp im getting. This couldnt be true. Whats the opinion on this.

 

Nope.

To big of an exhaust actually decreases performance. For a 4 cyl NA car the perfect diameter is 2.25 inches. The sounds has nothing to do with performance, other than the usually more free flowing exhausts are louder. But there can be somewhat quiet performance exhausts.


We have no idea what you drive. Please put your year, model, engine type, doors, tranny, and w/e else in your signature.
