Default Full Exhaust System vs. Just Muffler

I have a 2000 Accord LX. I'm looking to replace the stock exhaust to something with just a little deep sound, nothing to loud or ricey and nothing with highway drone. I was looking to get an Apexi WS2 but i don't know if I should just get the muffler or the whole exhaust system. What do you guys think?? Any other suggestions on different brands? I've done tons of research and lots of brands don't make exhaust for my type of car.

Apexi is definitely one of the most well liked brands. In my opinion you cant go wrong with them. I would get the whole catback since your current exhaust is probably starting to show its age anyways.

*certain cat backs remove that 2nd o2 sensor which is 1 thing to worry about...
*replacing the muffler only will give u that sound diff, but may need to be welded on if its a 2.5' and your pipe is 2.25'
*a lot of cat backs remove the mid muffler/resonator, which will leave your exhaust louder then stock, maybe minimal highway drone, and rhaspy when cold

The WS2 is a great exhaust. Or Magnaflow and Vibrant Performance. All are quieter, good sounding systems.

I would go with the the catback for the the WS2. Magnaflow and Vibrant have multiple styles of mufflers, so with those, I would find whatever style muffler you like, and take it to a exhaust shop and have them bend and weld up some piping.

Okay so I went with a Vibrant due to pricing. Hopefully I made a good choice! I did lots of research before I purchased and I really like the sound! Pics and sound as soon as I get it and have it installed! Thanks for the help!
