Default gd check engine light

I just put in a new exhaust system in my car because the old one had more holes poked in it than a turkish prostitute. So I'm driving down the highway after the engine warms up and the check engine light comes on. I reset the ecu and the light still comes on with the 43 code for the fuel system. I had the same codea while backand it turned out to be a faulty 02 sensor. I wouldn't think that a new exhaust system would cause the 02 sensor to freak out tho. Any advice?

what section of your exhaust was replaced? in front of or behind the o2 sensors? i know on my tpi chevy i had a leak in front of the o2 sensor, causing weird readings/check engine light.

After doing your new exhaust did you reset your ecu? Is this an aftermarket exhaust or an OEM replacement? The more info the better!

I bought an aftermarket catback system. I reset the ecu (I unplugged the (-) battery cable for over 10 minutes, then started it and let it idle for another 10 minutes, then shut it off; that's how I do it right?). The code 43 still comes on, usually only at highway speeds. I had the same scenario a while back and (same code under same conditions) and replaced the 02 sensor. The code never came up again until I put a new catback system on. I wouldn't think a new exhaust system would cause my 02 sensor to foul up.
