hi guys, my catalytic converter gave up 2 days ago and is just rattling like hell when engine is hot... and replacing a cat would cost £150+labour whereas getting a whole catless system will cost me £250+ £backbox...

and guess what

I booked in for friday and having a custom decatted system fitted..
Just a quick question. will the ecu and engine play up after the mod?? do i need to get a remap before revving it hard??? will it cause damage??

i have been on Imprezas always and its NOT advisable to go on boost after fitting a new exhaust (until you get the ecu mapped)... there is no boost etc in this case but better safe than sorry
