thunder, if u are looking for a megan muffler go here~ www.undergroundmotorsports.com they have tons of megan racing stuff for really cheap and good quality. then all you would have to do is get the piping down sumwhere at a local shop. my friend just bought a muffler from there for about $80 shipped and he did from the cat back for piping and put the muffler on was about $125
80+125=$205 and it sounds really good

You gonna install this yourself then? Good luck....I am positive you will need a lift, no I am certain. NO way you can do this with a jack...much less a stock jack.

EDIT-
and not drawing huge amounts of attention is another thing to remember...
Dude....comeon....5.5" muffler. That's larger than a Tsudo catback (eBay $228, 4.5" muffler). That's the equivalent of a coffee can. Let us know how it sounds though...perhaps MR tuned the sound down. More likely not.

You talked about wanting to able to hear the radio and what not, so the option I would choose just on reading your first post would be to get the header. Combine that with and intake and you will have atleast a mild gain and still be able to hear your radio at cruising speeds.

Yah, that was my original plan... but the thing is I was hoping to get as much power out of this thing as it has in the cheapest way...

I was thinking of something like this http://cgi.ebay.ca/Tsudo-FB-CATBACK-...QQcmdZViewItemwith obx headers

yea thats a nice system like the one my friend 1996accordlx has(well the muffler part). are you planning on doing it yourself bcuz yes youwill need a lift. but $285 for the whole thing is a good price and megan has really good quality products

good luck with what ever you decide!

I'm doing my car turbo and I was told by a close family friend who owns a race car (very nice camaro 69' 1/4@ 8.2s) that 3" will work perfectly.
But that's just what I've heard......
