Are headers worth it
I was wondering it they were worth putting on? I'd like to put them on cause they'd look better than that ugly factory manifold. Would it actually increase torque and horsepower by somewhat? Know it wouldnt be any huge gains or anything. Maybe 5+ horsepower and torque but I figured a lil bit wouldnt hurt? Anybody using them currently

Yes. I had an OBX one which eventually warped after a year so dont go that brand. If you live in Cali you need a DC Sports or Greddy header. Otherwise, many have had great luck with Megan.
I am back to the stock manifold and hate it. The header provided a slightly quicker startup time. When WOT you could tell there was less resistance than the OEM manifold. Sometimes I thought I could feel a decrease in torque, but I would have a header anyday over the factory manifold. I am hoping to get a Megan header sometime.
If you install one make sure you let the block cool off before toqueing anything down. If not, you'll pull the manifold studs out of the aluminum and you'll have some big problems.
Also, I see you have a Bomz cai. I hope you replaced the filter w/ a name one like AEM or K&N.

Providing the engine is in good shape you will feel a difference with a header. It won't be drastic but it will be noticeable. Followed with a relieved exhaust system will make a large difference.
Its my understanding that headers are better for higher RPM horsepower increases but not so much for low end torque that youd need more in daily driving. For that, the stock exhaust manifolds are better.
I could be totally talking out of my rear end here so take this with a grain of salt.
