Intake Help
I had a 6th gen V6. Your filter is completely enclosed with the bumper and the lower shield that is a part of the wheel well. I had an Injen CAI on mine for 4 years without any issues.

And to the guy asking about intakes...go with the AEM V2...it's very, very nice and worth the price.

Also, I've read about bypass valves being more dangerous to use than the protection they provide. I've read cases where the foam has fallen apart and gotten stuck in the intake manifold as well as cases where they allow the air to bypass the filter even without water.
The shield and sock will help with splashes, but then again, an oiled filter will stop a splash. Neither will help with submersion.
yup .... it sounds great ..... on the accord, is the hose that they give you too long??? I put one on my bro's 3.2CL and the kit said it was an accord kit ..... I think it's the PCV hose that goes near the TB and when I first put it on, it was flexed into the TB and got wedged in there holding the throttle open .... I cut about 3" off and now it's safe. Just something that I didn't think that I'd need to check from Comptech .... also, it was kinda hidden from view
