If the diameter of the piping is too big, it can be hurtful.

I think its 3" with 4 bangers....6 is slightly larger.

Basically it's OEM size...

the intake draws in cooler air from the outside of the car because the engine bay is hot, the only way i can think that a person will lose horsepower would be bad installation or they run their car on the dyno and they dont have a fan in front of the car, so the intake is sucking up hot air, which makes the car lose power

under normal driving conditions, you gain power because the colder air is sucked up from the outside

i was told this info from someone at a forum, cant remember which one

pipe too big, too much air, not enought gas= loss of power... but it's not a common mistake... 2.5-3.0 in should be great...(go for 3in)
