low end torque solutions?

You can stroke the Ford 5.0 (302) to a 347. But I know you are a chevy man so this is kind of an "opinion" game. haha

Truth be told if you want low end torque.... a honda is not for you, i mean its only minor difference, like ehaust back pressure makes a huge huge difference, instead of using 2.5-3in.... cat back pipe use a 2.25 inch cat back pipe, that is plenty of space for any 4cyl. with the exception of some forced inductions systems to breath and will still allow back pressure, other then that your only other option is internals, I.E. a camshaft itself, and other items like hei coil, wires, better plugs and such.
