Default 1 step wash and wax solutions

I do alot of driving and want to keep the van as clean and grit free as possible. In the past, I've spent the time to give my cars good thorough hand washes and paste waxes. However, these days, with a house that needs work and 2 kids, that time is just not available anymore.

I was wondering what everyone thought of those waxes where you just hose it on and rinse it off. Any goods you can recommend.

I can afford the time to do a quick wash, wax, and rinse every week or two. I just don't have the time with family obligations to spend the hours on a given day to properly wax and buff the cars anymore.

Eagle One is one brand I've seen but don't know how well it works. I'm willing to trade quality and duration of shine for more frequent applications. What I don't want to do is choose a product that has long term negative effects from frequent usage.

Default RE: 1 step wash and wax solutions

your talking about the mr clean? yea it works great if you dont have a single dried bug stuck on your car....but yea i would go around real quick and scrub any bugs/tar/bird ****....and then use the mr clean, and then when its dry go around with a spray on one step detailer and your whip will look real nice. and then id say just once every few months pony up the 50 bucks to have it waxed at your local car wash.
