New here and confused, but you all seem to know your stuff. As my ID indicates, I have an '07 V6 SE w/ AT. Family sedan, but every once and awhile like to go for a drive. I see there are no available cat back systems for my car, so I was interested in looking for a quality muffler setup. Not looking for a performance boost, just a nicely tuned grumble. I like the sound of some of the Acura CLS clips on youtube. Anything similar out there? Nothing obnoxious. Any suggestions would be helpful.

you might want to just go with a universal muffler, but go to your local shop for suggestions and to see ifthe muffler can fitor hopefully a forum member can help you out.and aboutthe sound part becuase i do not know anything about the sound of a universal muffler, try finding a muffler that you like (on the internet), then look it up on youtube to here the sound. hope this helps!

 

thanks. was looking at replacing stock mufflers with magnaflows, replace mid-muffler with a straight pipe, and replace stock resonator with a magnaflow as well.

heard a clip of an acura tl with that setup....wonder if an accord would sound similar.....
