Default my intake makes poping noise

i got my fujita cai 2 weeks ago and it makes poping noises sometimes.

my car is a automatic 4cyl, and when i gas it to about 4,5 thousand rpm and let go of the gas and gas it back

it makes a poping noise from my intake. This does happen all the time so i really dont know wats causing this noise.

sounds like a backfire... possible timing issue.

if an engine is losing vaccum by way of an unhooked hose oreven a leak around tb seal, intake seal, etc...it can cause backfires. but i think you would have a check engine light on...

does it sound mechanical (like metal on metal) or more like a small explosion?

I don't have the engine light on and i dont think there is any leak.

It sounds like a little explosion to me.

If its a backfire, is it bad for my engine?? and wat causes that backfire to happen/???
