What? Weapon-R? I hope that was a joke.

AEM or K&N. Makes no difference. Like falkore said, go with what's cheaper.

When comparing AEM, K&N and Weapon R ..... might as well add in Injen, ARC, 0-1000 and any other filter out there; assuming the same length and connection size, they are all 5-ply gauze oiled filters, so they are all the same. What matters is that on cheap filters, lower quality gauze is used with larger pores. Also, the seams are not sealed as well.

As mentioned, if it's a good brand, go with the best price.

well i really dont care what brand it is as long as the humming goes away. it just seems like the air is reverberating inside the filter making the noise. sounds kinda like the noise the ac unit outside a house makes while its on, except probably not as loud but still noticable

I don't trust the concept behind AEM Dryflow and will not use their filter in my car. IMO, it is a glorified disposable filter and I see no good way to clean it. I'd only be comfortable with a Dryflow if I bought a new one every year and that kinda defeats the purpose of using a washable, permanent filter.
