NEVER get under a car that is only supported by jacks. Unless you want to be crushed to death when the jacks either fail or topple. Use jackstands or pay someone else to do the work.
Bolt on exhausts do not require welding. Did you look at the DIY link Igave you? You may have to torch off the old bolts though. Either torch or use a ton of liquid wrench or PB Blaster.

don't feel stupid...but at the same time stop trying to take risks...if i were you,i'd get 4 jacks...use two for the front and two for the back and then go under also i'd have it on a FLAT surface...its too risky man...just do it the legit way..better safe then sorry.

it will be about 80 total. You need gaskets, and bolts. Then you will be charged for shop expenses like the torch and anything else the use that has to be replaced 80 total would be the max

RE: possible to install catback without lift?
I was going to say expect to pay between $80 and $100 for a shop to do it. Not many shops will charge less than $100 these days for anything other than an oil change. it seems almost like it is the minimum charge now.

$40-50 an hour 19accord97? Give me the number to this shop you speak of! Shops here charge anywhere from $80 - 100 an hour. If I were you I'd grab the bolts and gaskets at an auto parts store and bring them there... who knows what they'll charge you for them.
Side note, my friend's dad who owns a shop charged me $40 just to grind 2 bolts and press in new bushings.... lame.

Well he's probably speaking of a local shop where he knows the employees/owner/etc... I had my local tire shop install my entire exhaust on my 240sx(header, test pipe, cat-back) for $50. I know the owner very well needless to say. So its all in who you know that the price is based on
