Legionofone, second that! The shop said the Civics Si's were very "chocked up" in the intake and exhaust systems, and their cars were making about 30 crank hp from an intake and exhaust alone. So I'm guessing it's the same for the Accord. Do they make the Apexi WS2 for the new Accords?

for coupes i believe, but dont get the WS2 if you want an unchoked exhaust.

Could be possible, I heard alot of good things about tunning a k-seris engines. Plus everyone knows honda wants to keep it status as environmental leader in cars. So its more likely that they will restrict the hell out of these engines just to do so.

ok please people a chip? THEY DONT MAKE CHIPS FOR K SERIES!!!!
Cams? really so 1000 bux for a descent cam and install? yeh right...

FWIW, you can get the camshaft reground to a higher duration at a competent engine machine shop for around 250 dollars, it will still even pass smog for the amount they will do it, and wont really affect your idle unless you start going to lumpy camshafts with high overlap and duration (284 degrees+).

regrinds dont work for DOHC cars... they work for push rod motors because the push rod and so on can be changed to compensate for the new smaller base circle... in a DOHC car you would need a whole new rocker arm assembly and the ods of finding one of those that would work with Vtec are slim to none... also you would need a complete computer reflash because K series engines are SMART ENGINES... they would be like... WTF is this ****... also im betting the machine shop would be like o we need to add some advance or retard... then when the VTC setup sends the cam into full advance BAM right into a freaking piston... and if you knew anything about Vtec theres 3 lobes so a Vtec car SHOULD NEVER LOPE!

ah i forgot about that pesky variable valve timing hahah

im used to just the cam pushing the rocker arm then on the other end using an eccentric to hit the valve >_<
i guess thats out of the question
