That's the resonator!!! The SRI will have 2 ports for the hoses to plug into.

You sure that's the resonator? I have a 95 without that box or hoses and my resonator was in front of the wheel...

I'm still trying to tell exactly what I am looking at here. I can see the plug wires going to the distributor.... Can you step back a bit and take a picture not so close up? I think that looks too small to be the resonator. My resonator does not have any hoses like that coming out of it. I only had ONE hose to hook up to my SRI in my 6th gen.

Same. It looks really odd and I don't know why it's connected to the engine like that. It almost looks like a second air box... anywho, that's not the location of the resonator. The resonator is the big plastic box in front of your passenger side wheel in the bumper...the air box you removed has a pipe that goes straight down into it.

It does look like a second filter/air box.. odd...

yeah most resonators i've seen are way bigger than that, and in the bumper for our cars... but what do i know

No, that is not the resonator.
The resonator is above the splash shield, behind the bumper, same as a 6th gen.

Although my car has that box, there are no tubes going to it. It is something specific to the F22B1 w/ ABS, both me and finch have a box but it has no vacuum tubes going to it...

and btw, it is actually UNDER the intake manifold, its bent back in that picture.

unless were talking about a different box AGAIN

and sorry falkore, but i cant really help that much.
