The gains from an intake are so small that the little things that you guys are talking about will add up to no noticeable difference. Just my $0.02

the filter box like the Icebox or the ARC power chamber?? .... yeah, those are CAI's with the filter in the SRI location.
If you want the Icebox, be prepared to wait 3 months from when you order it.

RE: SRI/CAI Pipe
im talkin about like the heatshield...to cool off the SRI a little...and i hear soo much controversy over SRI sounds louder than the CAI and then some say they sound the same...and then some people say the SRI is better and its used more widespread than the CAI yet they say the CAI gives almos 2x as much performance as the SRi does and the hydrolock thing...im not too worried bout that because i mean i live in Tx so yea not really possible...lol...but yea as of now i do have a SRI yet i do want cooler air without actually having to have a CAI ya kno??...i want to maximize the performance of my SRI so are there any suggestions??..i mean anywhere from changing the filter to the pipe....so yea even the smallest suggestion is appreciated....98 HONDA ACCORD LX

RE: SRI/CAI Pipe
My suggestion: Leave it as it is. Were are talking MINIMAL gains here on something that costs far too much to justify it.
Too many people think an intake turns their car into a race car. Bottom lines it looks and sounds good, no real performance gains. It just feels faster because it sounds sportier.
