Default SRI Questions?

Hey guys I ordered an Injen SRI which should be arriving tomorrow and I had a few questions. Some people have told me that the ECU on my Accord needs to be reset in order for the car to recognize my new intake, any say on this? Also, i'm not sure if my SRI brings a heat shield, does any one know where i would be able to get a compatible one for my Injen SRI. I have an '02 accord LX 4cyl by the way. Thanks!

By reseting they mean to just disconnect the negative battery cable. Also search injen heat shield on google it should be any of the first links. But If your battery is in the same spot were mine is in my car then you wont have room for one.

Does that affect performance in any way you think?

Na its not that bad. if i relocated the battery, took out my resignator, and then put on the heat shield so the open spot will be at the hole were the resignator was then maybe i could get a very small gain.
