Default thanks pops!

k so dad gave me his 97 accord coupe LX in stick, only 80k miles and he sorta babied it so i've got a decent project car for free. any must have mods I should go for ASAP? which intake/exhaust? best tire size/suspension mods...

Congratz on getting the car and welcome to the site. Your dad didnt know what he had lol...Considering the mileage and overall age of the car I would take note of maybe getting the timing belt and water pump changed if you plan on having it for a while. If you really wanna modify the car though I would start with an air intake and work your way up. your best bet it to do little things and get used to the car and how to work on it.

If you want performance then I would definitely suggest considering a motor swap so you wouldn't have to spend money on that engine service and give it to something with more spunk in it. There is plenty of info about them on this site and all over the internet. Good luck, have fun, and be safe!
