I was wanting know what the best engine to out in it or if someone could rebuild one for me and how much.

 

I thew a H23 in my in my 89 accord lxi coupe. But if money isnt an issue do a k24 swap if you can do it right. and just stock it smashes but you you also can go with the F22-B2 non vtec and you can throw in a bigger and better cam than the F22-B1 vtec because the vtec sylinoid is in the way. But id go with the H22 or H23 swap or do the H23 block ad H22 head. I think the H series swap is better beacause it will swap right in but make sure you have the wiring harness and the ecu and you may have to do the OBD 1 to the OBD2 conversion.

 

Im guessing that you either have the F22b1 SOHC vtec or the F22B2 NON VTEC. So logically and money wise throwing in the H22 or the H23 wuld be your best bet.

 

Agree with the H22/23 suggestions. Had a couple friends with 4th gen Accord with H22, nothing like adding 65-75 hp with an engine swap, definitely won't get that much with bolt-ons on the F22.

 

h22 engine 200hp
k24 engine 200hp
f22 engine 140hp
k24 engines are very new 2005+ and actually positioned the opposite direction as earlier honda engines with trans on driver side. just something to consider
