Where to buy V2

Default Where to buy V2

so i looked around on the NET for the cheapest V2 to buy for my 03 accord. Anyone buy it for less then 300 bucks. The cheapest i found it 299 and free shipping on some site. Thanks!!

Edit: An di was wondering if the V2 comes with the protective cover so it does suck up any water??? Thanks!

i belive you have to buy a bypass valve which helps prevent hydrolock (which i think is a serperate part). and V2's are expensive in the first place, $299 sounds likea decent price to me.

Thanks... I did soem searching on Ebay and found some AEM bypasses for round 50 bucks!

DO NOT get the AEM bypass valve if you're getting the AEM V2 intake. It won't work. If you don't believe me, this is on the aempower.com FAQs.

Q: Can I use an AEM Bypass Valve with the V2? A: NO. AEM V2 Induction Systems utilize a dual chamber to create multiple frequency sound waves. The installation of the AEM Bypass Valve would disrupt the tuning of these systems, and in many cases the tube diameter of the V-2 systems exceeds the maximum size of the AEM BPV making it impossible to install.
You can use the bypass for the original AEM CAI though, just not the V2.
