1996 Honda Accord issues/problems/thoughts???
Hi,
I have a potential to buy a 1996 Honda Accord Automatic 4cyl from my brother in law. The car has 116K on this. Could anyone tell me any common problems or things to look for? He hasn't had a problem with it. I'm not sure if the timing belt was changed and I realize that should be done if it wasn't. It needs a new driver side front window motor.
The car is in pretty good shape other than just cosmetic stuff.
Any thoughts or recommendations? Things to look for?

Solid cars as long as reasonable maintenance has been done. Timing belt job can run $600-$800 if you don't DIY.
Auto trans fluid should be changed (drain/fill) w/ Honda ATF.
Suggest taking for good long drive to check cruise control, suspension, steering, gas mileage.
