Finally got that check engine light to stay off. It turned out that the O-2 sensor I replaced was the wrong one. I replaced the upstream sensor but the wires were a little short, come to find out that the one I needed was for California emissions, it had a blue wire and costs twice as much as the standard sensor. It worked
