this is for a friend she went out of town for a funeral, car started cranking no start longer and longer, two uncles worked on problem, shade tree style. new junk yard ecu, problem solved ... kinda. gets home works but starts having problems, nothing major. She remembers uncles arguing about the year of the junk yard ecu asks where the old one is got no answer sounds like it was turned in as a core. Now 1 year later would like to have the ecu re-built and would like to buy junk yard one and send it off. 2 questions does anyone know of a resource to re-build ecu? and does anyone know how to look up proper ecu part numbers?
