Default 91 Accord EX newbie

how's it going. I hope I'm posting in thecorrect section as a Newbie for the year Accord I just bought.

I'm new to the forum and just bought myself a 91 Accord EX. I used to own one of these back in 1991 and sold it a few years later for a 96 Accord, which I eventually regretted. I'vealways like this model, body style and look. I am looking forward to getting advice and maintenance info for my new/used Accord as i need to make sure it last a while. I needed an economical car and the Accord was one of the first cars that came to mind. I have a gas guzzling 08 Tundra, and I was stupid to think gas prices wouldn't pass the $4 a gallon range, "big mistake" on the Tundra. Oh well, I really like the Tundra and its my weekend ride, and the Accord will become my daily commuter. The exterior of the Accordis immaculate, its a rust metallic color, which I've never seen before in a Accord, and its the original paint job which attracted my attention. Its rare to find a car this old with the original paint job. It has a couple of dings, and some paint stains, but the paint is very shiny and glossy, the clear coat is not peeling or fading anywhere on this car. The interior is a light grey and also in immaculate condition. The car has 196,000 miles on it and i do believe it will need some mechanical work. I just turned the front rotors and put new brakes on, but for some reason I still feel the steering wheel shimmy, and vibrate. Not sure if its the brakes or something else, but I'll get it checked out. I also have an oil leak, and a mechanic told me its coming from the TB area, and he pointed out the 3 gaskets/seals located in the TB area and suggested I do the TB/water pump/ adn all the belts and gaskets replacements, which i plan to do this week. He also suggested a new oil pan and gasket, so i may just have this done as well. I'll be visiting HonCura in Glendale later this week to have this work done.

Again, Im looking forward to the advice I'll get to keep my Accord running for a while.
Thanks, Marc
