98 Accord EX 2.3 stalls
Hi. I just bought a 98 Accord Ex 2.3 from a friend.
He was having an issue with the car stalling at when stopping at lights. He raised the idle a little and it stopped stalling but it is now idling at 1000 rpm in park. There are no engine codes. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to HAF !
Know any history of the car....tune up stuff and that?
Adjusting the idle should be the LAST resort, IMHO. Just covering up an issue.
If the tune up items are up to date. I'd get a can or two of carb cleaner, an old toothbrush and some rags and give the TB a GOOD cleaning - both sides of the butterfly, the inside of the bore where the butterfly would "seat" at idle, plus a good amount of cleaner in the two ports on the firewall side of the inner bore of the TB. If still acting up, you might have to pull the IAC and clean it.
Then do the idle re-learn. If the warm idle is still high, then you will need to adjust it back down
To other Mods and ANG - I'll move this if and when the OP comes back.
