I have a 98 accord 4 cyclinder automatic that is making a really loud annoying grinding and clunking noise....i have had the car for about 4 years and it was working fine and last june the right front side half shaft went bad so i replaced it and was back on the road...well a month later had to replace the left front driver side hub bearing and again was back om the road...well the next day was driving home and cam to a stop sign and as i started to proceed the left front driver side made this really loud horrible clunking n grinding noise and the car wpuldnt move at all wether i was in drive or reverse...when i put thw car in park the noise was almost constant...when the car is in drive the engine makes like a whining noise and doesnt move..the same goes for reverse but wheb i put it in park with the car still on it makes that grinding annoying noise...i have people tell mebthe tranny is bad and others tell the driver sode half shaft is bad....please any help wpuld be greatly appreciated...i think its the half shaft but i dont know much about cars
