I am new here and have arrived as I have just bought a 1992 Honda Accord and need a little infomation about it.

First of all I am in the UK and this is a UK car. The car I have purchased was registered in October 1992. It is badged as Accord 2.0 Celebration. I don't have any details of the specification of the engine in this car, I was surprised to see that it is a carburetor model. Could anyone enlighten me regarding BHP and Torque figures.

The car is currently MOT'd but, being a carb model, I am a little worried about it meeting the ever increasingly strict emmissions regulations in the UK, does anyone have any information on the emissions of this engine.

check if its got a cat. if not its may have easier restrictions. i know that cars before a certain year have easy restrictions, because they were built before the legislation demanding all cars have catalytic converters. unfortunately, i think the year might have been before '92, but not sure. as regard to the emmisions, i dont know.

BHP is probably about 110ish? but if the engine is ragged, its likely to be much lower
