Default Almost an Owner

I'm looking at buying a 2004 Honda Accord coupe V6 6sp M/T. It has 83,000 miles and I could probably get it for 10k. It looks to be in great shape inside and out. The only problem is that its red and thats not exactly my favorite color but has a nice tan leather interior. I've been looking at 7th gen accords for awhile and waiting for the right car and deal. I've also been thinking about holding out for an '05 model. Any thoughts or suggestions? This will be my first Honda and I'm hoping it will make me a Honda guy for life.

Forgot to mention. There is also an '03 accord coupe V6 6spd with 112k miles for sale that I could get for $7200 but it still needs the 105k mile required maintenance (probably around 1k of work). It's silver with black leather. What to do?

If possible I would hold out until you can find the color you want, hate to have something that for years you are thinking gee I wish this was a different color. But obviously if your current car broke down and you need a car sooner rather than later this might not be an option.

Thanks for the advice. I still have about two weeks to choose a car so maybe I'll hold out a little longer. What are you thoughts about getting one of these accords with about 110k miles on it?

My car has 166,000 mi on it, still working smooth mileage is just a number, if the engine's major components are sound then the mileage won't matter. That's how i feel anyway. Is the compression good? Does the a.c. work? But I agree with the above post, don't settle. Check the for sale section of the forum. Get exactly the color your looking for. You'll see your car everyday, you don't want to think in the back of your head, gee I should have waited..when I found my car I knew...call me crazy lol good luck!
