And another new member...
Hello all. I stumbled across this site a little while ago and thought I'd go from lurker to member. Looks like a lot of great information here! Hopefully, I'll be able to contribute when possible and not just be a sponge soaking stuff in.
Anyway, the ride: 2003 Honda Accord EX-L V6 coupe, desert mist metallic. 152k on the odometer. Car was feeling tired, and I started looking up cars to buy, but the thought of new car payments had me take a second look at the Accord. I took it to my dealership where I get most of the maintenance done, and I asked what it needs. My service advisor takes one look at my file, and says that he would recommend finally changing the 100k interval spark plugs that I put off a few times. Oops.
Okay, so the engine is much, much better with the new plugs (I guess being 50k over the interval will do that). I get the car aligned, give it the proper 150k maintenance, and throw on a set of Bridgestone Turanza Serenity tires. Major, major improvement. It was like buying a new car, for about 1/3 of the cost of a down payment. Took a road trip last week and couldn't believe the difference.
Longtime Accord owner- first car was an 84 hatchback, and then a 94 LX sedan, a 98 EX coupe (4 cyl), and now the 2003. Wish I had known about this forum a long time ago!

Good job on the car maintenance.
I am driving a 97 right now with 150k on it and it drives like it was new still.
As long as you keep up on the maintenance these cars last for a long time.
