I posted for help on an issue in the DIY and electrical sections, thought I would go into more detail about me here.
New member, and again, not sure why. I have owned and driven Honda Accords since 1990. I think most of my "tinkering" energy is spent on my 72 Chevelle and my various motorcycles - don't tinker much with the Accord... just drive the hell out of it.
Active Duty Air Force, been in 14.5 years. Married into a relationship with a 1981 4dr 5spd Accord which I really liked. Why we sold it I will never know. Probably had to do with being relatively broke in the mid 90's, and needed to upgrade. Enter into the family a nearly new, gently used 1995 Accord LX 4Cyl 4dr AT (bought in Oct 1996) which I am still driving. 145,000 nearly trouble free miles if you forget about the bi-yearly air conditioning repairs. While I was stationed in Portugal (May 2009-May 2011) I drove a very nice 1999 EX 4dr 5Spd which, again, I loved (probably because of the 5 Spd), and have now come to terms with being a long term Accord owner. I will drive this 1995 for the rest of my life (wife says I can keep building hot rods if I don't ever incur a car payment) and I agree - so thought I would join.
Look forward to joining in when possible, but probably spend time here looking for DIY stuff and asking occasional Q's when I am stumped.
