Better late than never...
Well, I joined this forum awhile ago but I forgot to introduce myself...and I probably should have joined a long time ago! I'm from North Dakota (yes, it is cold here) and am surrounded by 4x4s, but I stand by my FWD Accord all year long (winter tires help a TON).
I have a 96 Accord LX sedan automatic with over 265k miles that has been my daily driver for the better part of 9 years, and I recently acquired a 94 Accord EX coupe 5-speed with 189k miles on it from my uncle as a fixer-upper (it is ROUGH). The 96 has been well-cared for (at least since I have owned it, cleanliness was not a top priority for the previous owner), but she is showing her age with now faded and peeling clearcoat and small areas of minor rust. That aside, I have never owned such reliable transportation in my life! The 94 coupe is in the very early stages of some major TLC, I'm hoping to replace worn parts and do LOTS of bodywork/rust removal and give it a new lease on life as a fun cruiser. I'm planning on keeping it mostly stock with minor upgrades. Once this is done, I'm hoping I can give my 96 a new coat of paint as well, as it is still in tip-top shape mechanically. I am new to DIY auto repair and restoration but I am looking forward to using this forum for ideas and troubleshooting along the way, as well as talking to other Honda enthusiasts!
I'm glad I came across this forum, I'm looking forward to future discussion!

Thanks! I really don't know that much about cars, I'm just hoping to do most of this work by following advice/instruction on forums and youtube videos. I have learned a lot recently but am very much a beginner at all of this. I'm pretty meticulous and careful so I'm hoping most of it will turn out alright.
I agree, although I have little knowledge of the 240, but I am aware of Volvo's bulletproof reputation along with Honda. And although I have only owned a couple other vehicles, I have never been so impressed with a vehicle. Plus, it's very cheap transportation!
