break-in oil

Hi. I can't find it in the owners manual, but does anyone know what the recommended miliage for the first oil change is (for an '08 model)? Thanks.

Look in the book for Maintenance Minder. That clever little thing counts up how many times you start it, how often you slam the gas pedal, all that stuff. Dont go by simplemileage, just display the % oil remaining.

Honda is adamant that you leave the factory fill in for at least 5K miles. It contains a large amount of moly which eases the break in process.
