Default Checking In...

Hello All,
My name is Tomas.

I have a 1986 Accord LXi Hatchback with about 250K miles.

I got this car for my son a couple of years ago. He's off at college now and so it doesn't get driven a lot. My wife and daughters wont' drive it 'cuz it's a stick, isn't pretty (right now) and "smells funny."

We've done/had done some work done on the car:
1. Fixed the big oil leaks on the driver side of the motor at the main bearing and oil pump (it was dripping like a spigot when I first got the car).
2. Replaced the rear and front brakes, including a new master cyllinder. Basically, the while brake system is new.
3. got some new rubber (Kumho tires) on the car.

I still need to do the following (that I know of):
1. Find/repair a power steering fluid leak.
2. replace the cargo area floor mat/liner.
3. Replace the glove compartment.
4. Replace the carpet and re-cover the seats.
5. Repair/Replace the rear wiper motor.
6. Find/Fix an AC leak (important since I live in Fresno where the summer temps average about 100!)
7. New Paint.

Whew!!

The problem is that I'm a computer geek, not a mechanic! So I'll probably be asking a lot of "obvious" questions. So.. be patient!
