Default decision re purchasing new Accord

I have a 2011 Accord that I will trade in and I have enjoyed other than having to remember to put on the headlights when needed (my prior car was a Pontiac Bonneville and headlights were auto). I like the base 2016 LX model for everything other than that problem, how much extra would I have to pay for a model with auto headlights? Also found same issue with the Camry base model which I was looking into but I still prefer the Accord. I guess the good thing is I rarely travel at night anymore so its not a huge issue. Also have negotiated down to 19,650 at a local Honda dealer for the LX, is this a good price or should I push them to lower it? Thanks for input

Are you sure the '16 doesn't have auto headlights? My '14 base has them. You just have a choice. You should have off, parking lights, auto, and on. So the Accord is liked by me who prefer to turn them on and off. And people like you, put them in "auto" and leave them there and you are happy too! Recheck the switch, it should have the auto choice. My wife's CR-V has the exact switch. I'd be surprised if Honda dropped that feature.

All Accord models now have auto on/off headlights.

See the comparison of features by trim:

I think Corvair is correct, it is a setting option on the switch. I think the price they are offering you is pretty good. Go for it!
