FIRST POST! I'm here with an 04 Accord V6 Coupe
Howdy, everyone! @Texasaccord @TexasHonda I've got a good feeling about this place 🙂
So. While I'm presently in NJ (won't always be! Won't always be! Won't always be! "The good get out"...) I am brand new here with a new-to-me 2004 Honda Accord V6 Coupe. My research seems to tell me I have a J30A1 V6 and it says 3.0L and VTEC yay. (Never had VTEC before.) 197,309 is zero mile for me.

The first thing im going to do is check and adjust the trans fluid level; apparently it's not exactly the same as on a 2007 that I saw here. (Perhaps it is the same as in the shorter video? My trans dipstick appears to be there.)

Longer video. For a 2007:

That is going to be the first thing I do, since I got the car for a song based on one specific thing.. MIGHT video it but I don't really have a way to, maybe I'll try. All depends if I can get enough leverage to get bolt out. 🔩 "Righty Tighty, Lefty Loosy."
82 KID started in 2002 on my BMW. Went away around 2003.. came back 2019 on my Corolla. Then 2020 went on my Blazer.. that got hit, and it kind of went away again, until it was on my Subaru from then on until yesterday. 82 KID RIDES AGAIN! And she is an 04 Accord V6 Coupe.. the seller seemed to believe it is an LX, though it seems more like an EX to me.
@TexasHonda First question: How can I tell if my 04 V6 coupe is an LX, an LX-L (if that even existed? I don't know,) and EX (I noticed it doesn't have any trim badging but. EX on an Accord was always desirable if I remember right) or an EX-L? My car DOES have leather and a power sunroof.. if they were all power, okay.. if there is a way to tell I'd love to just know, I have been more than a glutton for punishment with my previous non-Honda vehicle and those days are DONE I am now ready to live my life, I've done my time though committed no crime LOL and I'm ready for a lifetime of happy and somewhat fast motoring "VTEC kicked in yo!" On a V6, at that! 🙂
