Default gettin a honda accord so im here n need input

im a subaru guy but thats money getting another one so a chance to buy a 2006 accord v4 coupe with a f22a4 vtec swap, and wasnt famiiar with that series and never seen the engine in a car before, but the guy started it up the motor sounded damn good for an early 90's motor with just near 100k on it that recently was swapped out and into the 2006 accord v4 shell with 68 k on it, started right up, it idled very well had a nice purr and was stable, and the rev was very strong sounding, gas pedal very responsive rpm's would fly from hardly hittin the gas, it jumped kinda like a si and felt the vtec kick well, shifted gears well, clutch was very quick kickin, had the cold air intake, new suspension, hid lights, engine diddnt shake to heck on the revs, (seen other swaps that just violently shake when the motor kicks down off revs) so sounded very throatty and clean with the dual pipes, , no knocks, i know a messed up motor when i hear one, comes with set of 17" black wheels, stock wheels, system+speakers, clean title and held the title, the man was a good friend of my buddy, his apartment complex is riddled with hondas for sale just by him, and said full warranty on the car, if anything happens motor wise he will fix it, i known the guy from his rep for being the dude you brought your car to for swaps done right. the paintjob is stock decent condition, body was all in tact and in in good condition. interior was nice diddnt smoke in the car so pretty clean for cloth seats, upholstery and dash are in good condition. let me know what you guys think for my first honda. i just wanted to check here n see what you guys think before i shell out any type of cash. because i myself just do not know hondas well enough. any input will be appreciated thanks! ( white 2006 Honda Accord v4 coupe w/ 68 k, with a recent F22a4 swap w/ 98k for 3700) thanks again!

welcome enjoy your stay.

But let me correct a few things for you. F22a4 isn’t not vtec...it's single cam NON-vtec engine. If it says vtec on the valve cover then it's a f22b1 vtec engine. Which DIDN'T come in the cb7 accords (90-93). It came out of a 5th gen accords (94-97)
Also it's a inline 4 not a v4.
Just a few things I wanted to clear up for you so you don't get bashed later on by ppl who have been in the honda game for awhile...trust me it will happen.

I'm confused why he swapped a f22a4 in to a 06 accord? The 06's 4cyls came with k24 engines that made 160-ish hp stock vs. the 140hp f22a4. Much more powerful engine and new aged than the F series engines.

me personally Id pass on that car. It's heaver than the cb7's so it will be allot slower.
Also what type of engine mount kit did he use? I have yet to see anyone go from a K swap to a F swap. They make mounts to put k24's in the cb7's but they won’t be the same for that gen accord. Also what trans is it running? H series or F series trans??
