Did they derate the cars in India? Becuase the V6 cars here are 244hp out of the same 3.0L (2997cc) or is it due to lower octane fuel?
I had no idea that was the case but you are right as I just checked at the Honda site. Must find out from my dealer. Could be the fuel but I am not sure.

hey welcome the the forum. thats big pimpin that you have a honda over there in india. i work at chase bank and we have a call center over there now in manila. i have no idea where that is in relation to you. i got to work on a mercedes benz bus/van that came over from india. i think it used to have a 50 cal on top too. have fun with the car
Thanks.

We have a slightly better option in vehicles in India now than we had 15 years ago. There is Honda, Toyota, General Motors, Suzuki, Ford, Hyundai, Daewoo (defunct), Fiat (nearly defunct), Mitsubishi, Skoda besides some Indian producers you may not have heard of. The choice of models is still limited but its improving.

BTW, Manila (Phillipines) is further east of us though I am sure Chase would have call centres in India too

it's most likely differnt ECU tunning for your reigon of the world....not a big deal as it's still quite fast.... Since it is pretty warm over there I am not suprised that output is slightly lower.

I'm gonna be dropping through Bombay on Wendsday. I'll be in India the whole month. Know any good race tracks or where i can find a nice bike in Hyderabad? How is the aftermarket scene in india? You must be pretty loaded to have a Honda and a driver.
