Default Hello

Hi, I'm new to these forums. i just purchased from the 1st owner a 2000 Accord V6 in the emerald green 4 door variety. I used to own a 1993 Saturn that I had equipped with Eibach's, Koni KYB struts, intake, 2.5 mandrel SS cat back exhaust, Dynomax Turbo muffler, front strut bar, 17" wheels and a 50 shot (wet) of Nitrous Express's finest. To tell you the truth I miss my old car for it's handling, and the boost was great when I used it. But I sold it to get the new car that was dirt cheap (from my folks) and it had 100k less miles.
I do my own oil changes, brakes, etc. and I just changed my oil/filter. I do have a few questions for you guys.
Now I'm getting the manitenace required light on (35k) is it just for a filter/oil change or is it something else? Is there a way to get the codes out ( and find out the specific code the car is throwing) and/or reset it?
And does anybody else have a issue with the emerald green paint being very thin and prone to showing scratches on it, or all all of the colors from Honda that way?

I have looked into performance modifications to the car, but I was wondering what was the low cost way of upgrading (Such as adding CL/TL springs/struts etc.) What do you guys suggest for handling mods. I figure an AEM intake and exhast will go a way to helping, but like my other car I'm going to keep the sleeper look. Eventually I may get a supercharger from Comptech or just sell the car and get a car (STi) more to my liking.
O.K. thanks in advance for all of the info.
C.S.

Hi Csparke...
You can go to your local AutoZone by your town and they will run a diagonistic code check on your Honda with their OBII hand held machine.
Best part about that is ..they don't charge you anything..Best Price I ever heard of..

Later...

TL-S anti-sway bar fits for cheap suspension upgrade. Same size as Neuspeed and a few others (19mm). As far as springs, shock, etc. There are plenty of decent manufacturers, depending on how much u trying to spend.
