Default Help



The peg timing belt tensioner pivots on it is sheared off does the old CV one off to put new dowel in so I can put tensioner on it to pivot,please help me..stevesbrew3@gmail.com ty

I think I'd replace the stud, since it's worn. I think the "peg" you're mentioning is for the spring to hold the "automatic" tension of the tension bearings for the timing belts. You should be able to manually set them though, once you replace that worn stud. I think that broke off stud, is just a rod in the oil pump cover (not 100% sure though.

So on the right side of back of tensioner is a place for it to slide on and the spring is on the left side of it

Yes, I believe so. It's hard to tell for certain looking at your pics.
