Nice comfortable, albeit boring car. I had a 2001 which I drove over 80,000 miles between 2012 and 2017.

Things to watch out for are rusted brake lines, fuel lines, fuel tanks, and brake calipers; I had all of them rust out and need replacement on my car. Other potential maintenance areas are the timing belt, tensioner, water pump, front main oil seal on the crank, the cam seals on both heads, and the oil pump seal; if none of those oil seals are leaking yet, they will. I also had semi-regular needs to replace a sensor or two (abs/traction control, engine O2 sensors, Idle Air Control, and seat belt/SRS sensors), as well as various EVAP lines and connections. All in all, not exactly an inexpensive car to maintain, but if you stay in front of it, along with periodic maintenance (i.e. replace brake fluid every three years, and transmission fluid every 30,000 miles, always using Honda DW-1 ATF) these cars can last a good long time.

Welcome, and I agree with Shipo on the brake and fuel lines rusting, along with the fuel tank. As the owner of a 99, and caretaker of an 00 (it's my wife's car), I can 2nd or even 3rd these common things. Both the 99 and the 00 got brake lines replaced, with the 00 getting fuel lines too. The 99 got a fuel tank replaced. Both of our cars are 4 cylinder cars, but timing belts still got replaced, along with the water pump (best time is to do them together).
Yes, both are comfortable cars, both have over 235K miles, and both need to be kept up maintenance wise. But both are fairly cheap to drive and will go a long time (the 99 is 21 years old, and the 00 is 20 years old), and both are still driven daily.
