HELP ME IM A NEW GUY!!??
ok well here it is, an opportunity for everyone here to give me the sam **** i got from alll of my friends lol. i own a 94 honda accord ex and decided to install a cold air intake in bad weather, not only that but i must have thought my car had scuba capabilities or something because i attempted to make it through a substantial puddle and didnt, so long story short MY ENGINE IS COOKED AND I NEED A NEW ONE!!!
HELP ME!!!
a few of my buddies have civics and they all have DOHC integra ls motors or the GSR motor and that exactly what i want. bigger and better.
IS THIS POSSIBLE??? WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST ENGINE TO PUT IT, LS? GSR? OR EVEN THE PRELUDE HO MOTOR?
SOMEONE HELP BECAUSE I HAVE NOOOO IDEA WHAT TO DO

the best motor to put in is the h22a it has about 220hp to the wheels, and its almost a direct bolt in, your just going to have to puy motor mounts. and they make a lot of stuff for that motor. you can get them for about 2500 to 3000

H22A is about $2600 + shipping at www.sunriseJDM.com. They only come with manual transmissions, so if you don't have a stick, your gonna have to do a conversion. But the H22A is a pretty good motor.

yea the h22 is the best bang for the buck, you can get them with auto or manual, and if you install it yourself it is relatively inexpensive. were not going to give you any crap about screwing up your motor....thats just what happenes with cold air intakes. sometimes you wont even see a puddle thats too big until its too late..
also...you could just change out your head, or have it rebuilt

You would definatly be happy with the performance of the h22 motor in your car. Also, if you could find a stock f22 Accord motor you could put that back in there and build that motor up (internals, cams, etc.) That is what I am currently doing and I am not only learning a lot about the car, but also turning some heads. The '91 Accord isn't ususally a performance minded car. With the t25 turbo and such, I hope to just have fun with the car and spank a couple of ricers as well.
