Default hey new guy o here and hondas in general

hey i just bought a 90 honda accord i have had it 5 days and heres what i ahve done so far
1) done a 2 twist engine flush ( wow that did wonders)
2) timing belt
3) water pump
4) head gasket
5) adjusted all the valevs to spec
6) new spark plugs
7) new cap rotor and wires
8) new valve cover gasket

still having some issues though like i said i have never worked on a honda in my life

1) everytime i solw down the oil light comes on the engine runs real rough
2) the trans slips just a hair on the highway
3) everytime i start the car i get thins loud plunk from the rear

Sounds to me like the oil pump needs to be replaced or the engine flush knocked some sludge and is blocking some passageways or the oil just needs to be topped off. The oil light = low oil pressure and is not a good thing to have. Since it only comes on when you slow down, I'm guessing it's the pump. Which is unfortunate because it's driven by the timing belt and you just did that job.

Oil pump is driven by the crankshaft, not by the timing belt. But TRUE, you have to remove the timing belt & all that stuff in order to get to the oil pump.

It's also possible that the low oil pressure is simply from excessively low idle RPM...

Your #3... Possibly a broken exhaust hanger is allowing the exhaust pipe to bang around back there.
