Default Hi All

Well we finally made the switch from Toyota to Honda. Hope it works out for the best and Honda can live up to its reputation. Anyway we bought an 04 Accord EX-L after our son hit black ice and wrote off our Camry. He walked away without a scratch, but the car did not fare too well. Anyway within the week of purchase the radio lights went and the check engine light came on. Not starting out the way we hoped. Should we be concerned?????? New to the Honda family.

Welcome! This (new member) area is for welcome & intro, not so much for actual questions. General Tech will be a better place but I'll leave this here for now.

Burned-out bulbs were sorta common in 1998-2002 radios, but I don't know if that was common in newer ones. For the check-engine light, take it to someplace like AutoZone & have them read the OBD-2 error code. Get the actual code number, not just the guy's description. Come on back & post it over in General Tech.
