Default Hi, I'm new here.

Hi I've got a 1991 Honda Accord.. It's my daily driver.. I frequent this site alot for ideas when I'm working problems out of my car, so I figured I would just register for once and say hello.

My car's basically stock, and that's the way I like it.. It's got 203k on it and it's got it's fair share of problems.. but still gets 30mpg easily, so I'm happy..

Hopefully I can help contribute back to the forum...

Hi I am new here as well, just bought a 2006 Honda accord SE (Canada) last week and I love my new ride, I used to be a Volkswagen fanatic I had a VW Golf that I dressed up and it looked and ride great but it started to give me some headache on the maintanance as it is a 93 Golf, my brother who owns a 98 Accord told me to get one and so far nothing about the car that I complained.

Default RE: Hi, I'm new here.

Thanks for the welcome..

The only problems I have currently that I will be fixing over my winter break from college are:

- Surging idle (intermittent) - probably bad IAC
- Bad Master Cylinder seals
- Valve lash needs adjusting - car was warm last time I did it, now that it's freezing cold out it makes noise till it warms up.
- Muffler flange rusted apart - needs that cut out and welded back together, muffler warranty just expired

Don't you guys love cars? They find ways of eating holes in your pocket.. This car is made of half advance auto parts by now.

Speaking of freezing cold, it's -8 below outside my garage right now..not a good time to work on any cars..
