Default Hi new here :)

I am from Liverpool in England and i have just bought a 2003 Honda Accord 2.0

Will get some pics up soon. Just wondering does it have a timing belt or chain?

Thanks

Pretty sure they changed over to the K-series engine, beginning in 2003 just like USA. If so it's a chain.

Older F-series engine has external drive belts on the left side (passenger side for YOU). Those have a belt.

Newer K-series engine has external serpentine drive belt on right side. That has a chain.

V-6 engine still has a belt. But I think they don't offer that engine in UK Accords???

Yeah, didn't Rover take on an old Buick engine from prehistoric times & I thought they made that into a respectable engine. At least better than GM ever made it.
