Default Hi from Upstate N.Y. !

Just bought my first Honda a '92 Accord EX . It's been messed with a little :cold air intake oversized plug wires backglow gauges and aftermarket stereo . I just got it for mileage to cut down on the 11-12 mpg with my '05 2500HD Chevy 4X4 . I looked for the Honda for reliability and mileage . Questions I have are known problems like I have a full res. of brake fluid yet spongy until pumped once (mastercylinder , possibly air also ) ,noise and shimy right front (struts ,and alighnment) . Passenger door not opening from the inside , not sure on that could be linkage or latch . Not on the road yet just getting it registered this week . Anything I can do to it appears cheaper than the Chevy with the aftermarket parts . I'm not looking for high performance ,just a good sound reliable vehicle . This looks like the place for good reliable answers . Just a single dad who needed a backup vehicle . Thanks for all in adavance ,Bud

Welcome and thanks for joining.

Looks like you've got a good start on figuring out the issues. When you are bleeding the brakes, proper order, and you get to the right front be sure to check everything out (bearing play, tie rods, ball joints, ect).

Got specific questions, post in the General Tech section and someone will chime in.

Again, thanks for joining

Welcome to the forum, as poorman said it sounds like you have a good idea on where to start with your issues.

Default Thanks!

Thanks to all for the quick replies. Not new at mechanical, just new to foreign cars actually looks kind of fun and relaxing (but I'm sure it will wear off Lol ).
