what does F 23 mean about my honda accord?

 

It's the engine code. 98-02 model 4cyl Accords came with F23A1 (LEV VTEC), F23A4 (ULEV VTEC), and F23A5 (Non-VTEC). The code is stamped on the engine to the left of the exhaust manifold. The number 23 stands for 2.3 litre
