I can't unlock my car, now I don't know if it's because the battery is flat in the car or the remote, and if I use the key to open the car the alarm will go off. What is my best course of action? Haha thanks neighbour's!

 

Pull out the horn fuse. Check your old battery...if a new one is needed... install and reset your alarm.
