Default Honda newbie here for my gf's ride

Hey all hows it going? Im totally new to Honda's and know absolutely NOTHING about them. Here's the deal, Im here trying to get info on finding/buying/modding an Accord for my gf...she wants one bad...and needs another car bad because her current one is almost belly up. But if the Accord I get her turns out to be really fun to drive am I in danger of not wanting to give it to her and keep it for myself

Welcome, and I think I can speak for everyone when I say you WILL like it and want to keep it for yourself.

If there is one thing you should know about Honda is that they make great vehicles period. I have had Two civics and two accords now and Honda has never left a bad impression on me.

I think your best bet is to get a later 90's to 2002 model or newer if it fits your price range and slowly mod it over time.

She can drive it for the most part, just talk her into letting you steal it from time to time and Im sure you won't be dissapointed.

Good luck in your searching / modding

Automatic trans in the 1998-2002 range is delicate (especially with V-6). Manual is bulletproof.
